We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our event to you, ParaPsyCon IV, which will be held at the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio, May 20 – 21, 2023. This event brings a lot of people to Mansfield for the weekend and is becoming bigger every year. Please read below for an overview.
PARAPSYCON:
ParaPsyCon is an annual paranormal and psychic convention held at the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio which brings thousands of attendees from all over Ohio and the U.S.
ParaPsyCon is short for Paranormal and Psychic Convention. ParaPsyCon was organized in 2019 in order to raise funds for the support of the Historic Ohio State Reformatory and to bring paranormal enthusiasts together.
ParaPsyCon IV will have over 90 vendor tables, which includes, paranormal teams, speakers, psychics, Reiki healers, authors, paranormal celebrities, and a vast assortment of vendors selling unique and one-of-a-kind items including jewelry, candles, crystals, shirt and much more.
OHIO STATE REFORMATORY:
The Ohio State Reformatory, which served as a prison from 1896 until its closing in December 1990 is well known for some of Hollywood’s biggest movies, including The Shawshank Redemption and Air Force One, just to name a couple.
BLACK SHAMROCK EVENTS AND TRI-C GHOST HUNTERS:
Black Shamrock Events and Tri-C Ghost Hunters receives no profit or money from our events. ALL net proceeds are donated back to the Ohio State Reformatory through The Mansfield Reformatory Preservation Society (MRPS) which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supporting The Ohio State Reformatory. They, MRPS, are entirely funded by donations and every donation they receive goes directly into the maintenance and restoration of this historic location.
SPONSORS:
Due to the high cost of this event, we are reaching out for sponsors. While the event has quite a few expenses, the largest expense is the cost to bring in paranormal celebrities. The paranormal celebrities are what brings in most of our attendees. More attendees, more money for the Ohio State Reformatory maintenance and restoration and more people coming into Mansfield for the weekend.
We are asking you for your support for ParaPsyCon III by becoming a sponsor. We have five (5) pre-determined package levels listed below as well as a level that allows you sponsor the event with any amount you are able. The money we collect will help us offset the cost of running the event and allow a larger net proceeds total that will be donated to the Ohio State Reformatory.
