PARAPSYCON IV 2023 COMMENTS

• The event was very well organized and I was helped being handicapped completely.

• This was hands down the best organized and executed event I’ve ever worked! I’ve done very large scale, national shows with hundreds of vendors, who didn’t provide the level of planning prep and assistance on site. I deeply appreciate the amount of work and consideration that went into the organization. Specifically, my favorite bits, the very detailed emails leading up to and the welcome packet at our table upon arrival, really made me feel confident and eased my anxiety.

• That there were more food options available this year and plenty of staff to help out.

• I love the volunteers and staff. They are so helpful and go above and beyond. I loved all the celebrities. I have friends that attend as vendors as well and love seeing them. The location is great too.

• Always fun.

• The staff and volunteers were exceptional.

• The organization is well done and everyone is super friendly.

• The organization and ease of being able to get what I needed from staff.

• Everything was so well organized and well run. All of the vendors were taken care of, everyone was so nice and friendly.

• Everyone I talked to had a great time.  I know the Ghost Brothers always say they do not get a chance to shop as they stop at our booth quickly to buy on the way out.  But, I think that is because they are so famous. 

• Overall, I enjoyed my time and I would definitely come back!!  Nova, Lauren, Christina and Lisa were amazing and helped us with everything we needed.

• I have watched this event grow over the past few years and it keeps getting better, lol if that's even possible to get better. • What can I say about ParaPsyCon this weekend??? Hmm. All I can say is this has truly been an exciting weekend! I don’t how a better way to start the 2023 paracon season then an event like ParaPsyCon!

• Photos from the always-amazing PARAPSYCON IV! Be sure to jump on board early for this one next year! (I didn’t do a very good job of taking photos, so I grabbed a few of these from others. 😉)

• Parapsycon IV what can I say. .. This event was so amazingly well organized and flowed sooo well. Massive credit to Kathy Schilens Feketik  and Greg Feketik  and all of the volunteers  of Tri-C Ghost Hunters. for making us all feel so welcomed and helped load in and load out. The Ghost walk was so much fun and I cannot wait to come back for the event next year and a overnight investigation. It was so good to catch up with my friends and new friends who I've met on fb and met some new people. See you all at Michigan – Jenny Davis

• This is probably the most well run event that we have ever attended...ever! This includes shows that have been going on for more than a decade. Shows that range from 15 to over 300 vendors. From the moment we got close to the door, we were showered with offers for assistance, personally taken to our table by one of the MANY volunteers and than asked if we needed any assistance with setting up. We were kinda taken aback by all of this.

• The amount of volunteers and the desire to assist from all of them. HOLY (foul language)! They hand delivered water, were checking on everyone each day and seeing if anyone needed anything, were never out of sight. I could close my eyes and toss a rock in any direction and probably hit one! Every single one was always friendly and willing to help. It was kinda awesome and really caught us off guard. Most shows we attend require an extended hunting trip to find someone for assistance and they are not always easily identified. With the green shirts, a blind man could find these people in the dark!!!

• The variety of vendors was fantastic. We are used to shows where we are one of several body product vendors. While I did see repeat vendors for some markets (crystals and paranormal stuff, obviously!), it seemed that you took care to keep them separated from each other to maximize their chances of success. We have done a show with 40 vendors and 4 were soapers. We were all together with only a single booth between each soap maker. I was very pleased to see the efforts made to spread things out for like vendors.

• Thank you to both you and Kathy for once again putting us in that fantastic spot.  We will send payment form next year as soon as you put out the applications.  No rush. Just want you to know Black Swamp Paranormal of NWO is delighted to be part of it and is definitely a long term vendor.  And thank you for all the wonderful volunteers who were so helpful!  You have a great crew!!!  We look forward to next year.  And whenever you are set for next year, just send me an invoice for the two spots and we will gladly pay it. Thanks again for all you do!  

• Thanks so much for another great ParaPsyCon this year!  Everyone is so nice and helpful.  It must be an organizational nightmare, but you pull it off without a hitch.  Super job!

• ParaPsyCon is by far our favorite event. Everyone is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. And it's just plain fun!!

• I had a few clients that attended the incredible com this weekend. I am a professional medium and death worker, doing so for 20 years. My clients raves about the event and suggested I reach out to attend next year as a practitioner.

• We came to the reformatory for the ParaPsyCon. All of the staff were amazingly knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The event staff were fantastic, making all of the different events, including the ghost hunt fun and well organized.

I've never met anyone so caring and dedicated to her work and the people around her. • As a blind vendor - I can't say enough positive about my total experience. I was a bit worried about the response to my service dog prior to arrival. But once at OSR, I was treated with utmost respect, questions were appropriate and limited about my dog. But in addition to the entire staff, I want to mention Eric. Coming from a sighted person this may not sound like much... But coming from a blind person with a guide dog...Eric made me feel NORMAL. On the vendor tour, he explained what was involved before hand, monitored us for safety AND my comfort levels. I don't encounter this often, but when I do I love to share. Thank you to the entire staff for always being THERE with a smile, an answer to any questions, with hot coffee & cold water and a kind word

• The staff was phenomenal very helpful, great variety of food truck, the vendor variety was great. Also the fact the vendors could be included in the tours also the scavenger hunt was awesome.

• I loved the variety of people that were there; vendors and speakers.

I sold out all copies of A Walk In The Shadows, packed the house for my presentation on shadow entities (with overflow into the hall), and got to see so many friends I hadn't seen in ages! Plus, I was able to give a tour of The Ohio State Reformatory to Nicole who fell in love with the building’s architecture. What an outstanding way to kick off the 2021 event season!

• It was also great to see longtime friends David Schrader, Mike Ricksecker, Mark Nesbit, Bobbi Robinson, and to reconnect with and meet some really great people such as Ben Hansen and the Ghost Brothers, Dalen, Juwan and Marcus. • It was organized very well for just coming out of a pandemic. I will be a returning vendor.

• It was a great event that gives like minded people a chance to interact and see the penitentiary. It’s very well ran.

• This year’s event was completely amazing, we liked everything.

• Good traffic and lots of tables and attractions! We greatly appreciate the staffs help loading and unloading and the waters were awesome!

• I absolutely loved how ell organized the event was put together and how smoothly everything ran. I loved that bottled water, coffee and lunch was provided. I also really appreciated that all info was included in my vendor packet addressing any questions I might have had. The raffles was an exciting addition this year too! It was pretty fantastic!

• Readily available volunteers for questions. Scavenger hunt was a great idea! Offering of drinks and booth coverage if needed. Steady flow of traffic. I can’t wait to do it again!

• The way the organizers and the organizing group were mindful of the vendors’ needs and wants. Plus the scavenger hunt and the drawing coupons were a novel way to get attendees to check out vendor’s tables and increase sales.

• We thought the vendor ghost walk on Friday night was a great addition to the event and was actually the highlight of an overall fantastic weekend. We can’t wait for next year!

• It was really well organized and ran. As a vendor, I've never been treated better. I really appreciated the lunch being offered and staff bringing around drinks and offering to cover for breaks. I've never had that before. Also, this was the first time all staff seemed to know the answers to any questions, usually they have to track a million people down. Plus the location was amazing, dream come true to be able to vend there.

• It was well prepared, well planned, and well executed. Everything came together as it should, good advertising, great people, and a really cool location!!! To top it off, the coffee service to our table was an unexpected delight.

• You are going to laugh but we loved that you guys had paper bags on each one of the tables for our trash. I haven’t seen that done before. We also loved how caring you were to us vendors by walking around and asking us if we wanted water/coffee

• I have be vending for a year now - and have done everything from markets, to art shows, music festivals, craft shows, malls, other paranormal events...and I must say that this has been the absoulute best, well run, organized event that I have had the pleasure of being a part of. I came from out of state, alone - not knowing anyone - and I felt extreamly at home, I knew exactly what to do and what was expected of me. Hospitality was great. So thank you very much for everything!
